MillECare® is named after our founder’s great-grandmother, Mildred E. Bush, a World War II Gold Star Mother, to honor her incredible strength, sacrifice, and compassion. As someone who endured the profound loss of a child in service to the nation, she embodied resilience in the face of hardship, qualities that resonate deeply with the mission of providing care to others. Her legacy symbolizes the ultimate sacrifice, and by naming the organization after her, we aim to reflect that same spirit of dedication and service in our healthcare approach. Naming the organization after her keeps her memory alive while setting the foundation for a collaborative community healthcare model rooted in empathy and care.
